I finally have a workable version of the soundtrack for my game Solaro which I think is probably good enough for the launch. A few tracks could still benefit from further polishing down the road.
Completing this soundtrack was very hard for me and massively delayed the game’s launch on Steam. It is long and has a range of styles requiring different approaches in the mixing and mastering. From these first tracks I hope you can get a sense of the game’s fun style and atmosphere of mystery. As there is little in-game dialogue the music is also being used to tell the story of the game world from beginning to end.
I’m still a relative amateur in music production, but happy to share what I’ve learned over the years if anyone is interested in that type of thing.
Enjoy!
